This nifty little machine cost $999 when it was released and weighs in at 6.4 pounds. The “ugly” display is quite readable although the blue on yellow colour choice may not appeal to all. It comes with DOS 3.3 built into the ROM - a handy feature of this ultra portable. The CPU runs at 8 MHz and the 3.5” floppy is nice although it is only a double-side one, reading a total of 720K per diskette. The screen is 640X200 in resolution and the RAM is a “full” 640K. The machine did fairly well, and is often sought by collectors. Runs the NEC V20 processor.

This computer is currently interactive in the Museum.

I bought this used in 1991. Used it for work for 5 years. I had to write reports in the field and it was a little worker bee for me. I had to save all my files onto a 3.5 disc as there was no internal storage. Its funny that I use a brand new computer at work now but I pine for the old days of the Tandy 1100

i.imgur.com/NyCLBWi.jpg Brought her out and plugged her in today out of nostalgia... Much like the last commenter, the battery's shot, so I run it on a multi adapter

I have this one at home. But my batterie doesn't work anymore.
