Computers by brand Dragon

Brand: Dragon
Founded: 1982
In: Swansea (Welsh) GB United Kingdom

The Welsh toy company Mettoy, attracted by the emerging microcomputer market, created Dragon Data and launched its first computer, the Dragon32, followed by the Dragon64 (with twice the RAM).
However, the company's poor financial situation led its Spanish distributor, Eurohard S.A., to acquire the company in 1984 and move its production to Casar de Cáceres, where it developed a localized version for the Spanish market.
Its computers, although compatible with Radio Shack Color Computer (CoCo) software, being a clone of the latter and sharing Motorola hardware in terms of CPU and subsystems, albeit incorporating an NTSC-to-PAL converter, did not have a comprehensive software catalog, which limited its expansion.

A variant of the Dragon 200 modified specifically for the Spanish market, which expanded the ROM character set to include lowercase letters, letters specific to Spain such as ñ, ü, ç, and accented vowels, along with other symbols.
This was achieved at the expense of reverse video characters, since the original version of this computer only allowed capital letters.
