The English parent company Oric designs the successor to the Atmos, while simultaneously launching development of its PC-compatible device. It initially called the new device Stratos, but shortly after its announcement, it went bankrupt.
After the bankruptcy of the English division, Oric's French branch (which was legally a separate company), called Eureka, launched it in France under the name Telestrat, manufacturing 6,000 units.
